World leading geoscientist Prof. Markku Kulmala gives a lecture
Markku Kulmala, member of Finnish Academy of Sciences, Professor of the University of Helsinki, gave a lecture at the Institute of Physics environmental physics seminar. The lecture was titled „Atmospheric aerosols: from molecular clustering to global climate and air quality“ and is available on the Youtube portal.
Markku Kulmala has published over 900 research papers and supervised 67 PhD theses. His works have merited over 35000 citations which make him the most cited geoscientist in the world. He is currently leading the Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research at University of Helsinki (INAR). In 2008 he was conferred the title of Honoray Doctor of the University of Tartu.
